  Well recently I bought Quechua shoes using Novadry tech. I'm just wondering whether the material is prevented from salt-corrosion in conditions like Montreal winter street?

  Hello,
  Thanks you for your interest in Novadry.
  The Quechua footwear with Novadry technologies have 2 major parts:
  1 - the inside part generally manage with a bootie.This bootie have membrane and seam tape. This part have no risk for the salt corrosion.
  2 - the outside part named upper. Depending of the type of component, mesh, synthetic leather or leather, the impact can be different:
  - Mesh: not big problem except discoloration for some colours
  - Synthetic leather component: no problem
  - Leather: salt resistance ok but the drying will create some white rings (tasks). However, the lifespan can be alterate.
   
  Global suggestion: after each use, clean the upper part with clear water to clean up the salt excess and less dry during the night.
